Week #1 August 24, 2020

Hey everyone!!!!

I made it to California!!!! It's been a good week. So on Tuesday, I flew to California and there were about 8 other missionaries with me on the plane to California and then we got the airport, and the mission president and his wife met us there and we drove back to the mission home and had dinner with them. Then that night our companions came to the house to pick is up my companion's name is sister Robison she is so nice and we get along so well. Shes from Logan Utah and she's been out 6 months. We also live with two hermanas they are so much fun. 

But this week we have mostly getting to know the ward because my companion this is her first transfer in the area so we have to find people to teach. I'm in an area called Glendora I'm working in the Glendora second ward. But we live in West Covina we are on a car share right now. 

Yesterday I got to go to church!!! Which was super exciting we had an outdoor church at 8 am it was so fun I haven't been to church since March. And that night we had dinner at the bishops house and 4 of us missionaries did a zoom fireside for the ward about member missionary work. 

Also, there's a track by our apartment!! So I can run while my companion walks around the track I can run every morning!! Which I'm sooooo happy about!!!

But this week has been so good!! I love it here!!!
